PUBLIC NOTICE- EAST LAKE TARPON SPECIAL FIRE CONTROL DISTRICT                                               TUESDAY, MAY 26, 2020 6:30 PM EST  NOTICE OF ELECTRONIC MEETING 
 

Notice is hereby given that the East Lake Tarpon Special Fire Control District (District) will conduct a regularly scheduled public meeting using an electronic format on May 26, 2020, at 6:30 PM EST. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct business of the Board as identified in the posted agenda.

Due to these extraordinary times created by the Coronavirus Pandemic, the District’s governing board will not be meeting in person; rather, via videoconference. Pursuant to Executive Order 20-69 issued on March 20, 2020 by Governor Ron DeSantis, “Local government bodies may utilize communications media technology, such as telephonic and video conferencing, as provided in Section 120.54(5)(b)2, Florida Statutes.”  Public input is permitted during the meeting via video conference or phone. Instructions are provided below. This meeting will be electronically conducted virtually via the Zoom platform and video recorded.

May 26, 2020 6:30 p.m. electronic Meeting of the East Lake Tarpon Special Fire Control District governing board will be conducted electronically (or “virtually”) with no public in attendance.

Public Comment:

Members of the public who opt to comment during the electronic meeting may do so via video or telephone using the Zoom platform. To access this platform for video & audio comment, visit www.zoom.us and select “Join A Meeting”. You will be prompted to enter the meeting identification number found at the top of the meeting agenda (Meeting ID: 992 5879 9019). To provide phone comment, call the number listed at the top of the meeting agenda and follow the prompts to enter the required meeting identification number.

Members of the public who have joined the meeting via the Zoom platform will have their audio remain on “muted” until “Public Comment” is called for. Upon the Chairman calling for “Public Comment” those wishing to provide comment can unmute audio and provide comment. Comments will be limited to three (3) minutes.
